Neurodivergent Task Planner

This task planner is designed to support adults with ADHD by helping turn overwhelming tasks into clear, manageable micro-steps. Instead of focusing on productivity or speed, it centers capacity, time, and energy, making it easier to start and continue without burnout.

The layout allows you to:

  • break tasks into small steps
  • match your energy level to the micro steps
  • choose realistic time frames
  • reduce overwhelm when initiation feels hard

This tool is especially helpful when a task feels “too big” or when motivation is low

Tips for Using This Task Planner

  • Start with very small steps. If a step feels hard to start, it’s still too big.
  • Match tasks to energy, not expectations. Low energy days still count.
  • Choose time blocks realistically. Short time frames are valid and effective.
  • Focus on starting, not finishing.
  • Use one page per task. Avoid stacking multiple tasks on the same sheet.

This planner is meant to reduce pressure, not create it. If you only complete one micro-step, the tool is working.
